On November 3, 2025，the School of Aviation hosted Captain Zhao Mingda of China Eastern Airlines, C919 pilot, on-base instructor, and proficiency inspector. As a key figure involved in the early transition to the C919, its fleet formation, and ongoing operations, Captain Zhao drew on his hands-on flying and technical management expertise to give students an in-depth look at the aircraft’s exceptional performance and operational journey. He advised cadets to cherish their time at the university and "consolidate theoretical foundations and fortify safety fundamentals."
